PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make plants grow faster with less energy.SOLUTION: Plants (62, 64) placed in an environment (a plant factory 10)that can be controlled are irradiated with any one of or a combination of light and an electromagnetic wave selected from a plurality of light sources (the sun 22, an LED 24, a specific wavelength light source 26) and an electromagnetic wave source 28.
