To provide a harmful animal capturing device and a capturing method capable of capturing and killing surely a harmful animal by imparting efficiently electric shock thereto, and destructing it safely.SOLUTION: In a harmful animal capturing device by electric shock including an approaching place (A) for a harmful animal comprising a conductive floor working as a positive or negative electrode, a feeding ground (B) comprising a feed container disposed on the outer edge of (A), an electric harpoon (C) working as a positive or negative electrode, and an energization facility (D), when a harmful animal approaches (A) and takes feed on (B), (C) is shot into a body target of the harmful animal, and energization is made by the energization facility (D).
