PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic transducer and an ultrasonic probe capable of securing a conductive path while avoiding complexity in a step of manufacturing a non-conductive acoustic matching layer.SOLUTION: There is provided a non-conductive acoustic matching layer including a first surface on the side of an electrode of a piezoelectric body and a second surface on the opposite side. A plurality of first grooves are provided in the first surface so as to have a depth extending to an intermediate part between the first surface and the second surface.
