PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing apparatus and a magnetic resonance imaging apparatus with which the dynamic state of a body fluid can be easily recognized.SOLUTION: An image processing apparatus includes a detection unit, a generation unit, and a display control unit. The detection unit detects the region of a body fluid flowing in an analyte from each image included in a time-series image group imaged by applying a labeling pulse to a labeling region in the imaging region. The generation unit generates a display image in which the detected region of the body fluid is shown on each image with a display mode on the basis of the physical relationship with a border line set in the imaging region. The display control unit displays the time-series display image group including the plurality of display images on a display unit.【課題】体液の動態を認識し易くすることができる画像処理装置及び磁気共鳴イメージング装置を提供することである。【解決手段】実施形態に係る画像処理装置は、検出部と、生成部と、表示制御部とを備える。検出部は、撮像領域内の標識化領域に対して標識化パルスを印加して撮像された、時系列の画像群に含まれる各画像から、被検体内を流れる体液の領域を検出する。生成部は、検出された体液の領域を、前記撮像領域内に設定された境界線との位置関係に基づく表示態様によって各画像上に表した表示画像を生成する。表示制御部は、複数の前記表示画像を含む時系列の表示画像群を表示部に表示する。【選択図】図１
