The invention relates to a system, method and a set of computer executable instructions configured to control an animals access to a channel leading to a remote resource. The process of the invention is instigated through retrieving a specific animal record based on the output of an identification means. A control signal is then issued by the invention to an animal selection system to allow the animal access to the remote resource if the retrieved animal selection record indicates priority animal status. Additional control logic may also be employed after the assessment of animal status to allow access to the remote resource to non-priority status animals.Linvention concerne un système, un procédé et un ensemble dinstructions pouvant être exécutées par un ordinateur, permettant de contrôler laccès à un canal conduisant à une ressource à distance à un animal. Le procédé de linvention consiste à récupérer une fiche portant sur un animal spécifique sur la base dune donnée fournie par un moyen didentification. Un signal de commande est ensuite fourni à un système de sélection danimal pour permettre à lanimal daccéder à la ressource à distance, si la fiche de sélection danimal indique un statut danimal prioritaire. Une logique de commande supplémentaire peut également être utilisée après lévaluation du statut de lanimal pour permet laccès à la ressource à distance aux animaux ayant un statut non prioritaire.
