The invention relates to a system, method and a set of computer executable instructions configured to control an animals access to a channel leading to a remote resource. The process of the invention is instigated through retrieving a specific animal record based on the output of an identification means. A control signal is then issued by the invention to an animal selection system to allow the animal access to the remote resource if the retrieved animal selection record indicates priority animal status. Additional control logic may also be employed after the assessment of animal status to allow access to the remote resource to non-priority status animals.
