PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable accurate measurement of forward environment recognition property of a driver in which the status of brain activity is considered.SOLUTION: A vehicle environment recognition property measuring system comprises: a screen 3 which is installed in front of a subject J； projection means 4 by which projection to the screen 3 is performed； target display command means 14 providing target information as projection information projected by the projection means 4 so as to intermittently and randomly display a target β at different positions on the screen 3； a reaction switch 5 which the subject J manually operates； and brain wave detection means 7 which detects a brain wave of the subject J. When the target β is displayed on the screen 3 and the subject J operates the reaction switch 5, reaction time is measured and stored.
