PURPOSE: A portable electric toothbrush is provided to ensure small size, light weight, and portability, and to prevent breeding of bacteria through sterilization. CONSTITUTION: A portable electric toothbrush comprises: a housing in which a control unit(110)-connected switch, a battery(130), and an electric motor(150) are integrated； and a head(200) which has a toothbrush(210) and is connected with a cover. The head is connected to the upper portion of the housing through an angle adjusting device to move in a desired angle. The angle adjusting device comprises a square-shaped hinge shaft, a slot, and a spring member for pressing the hinge shaft. The slop corresponding to the hinge shaft is integrated with a contact part.본 발명은 스위치와 밧데리 및 진동모터를 구비하는 하우징과 칫솔이 장착되면서 커버가 연결되는 헤드의 조립구조로 이루어지며, 상기 헤드가 각도조절수단을 통하여 하우징에서 원하는 각도 움직이도록 설치되는 구성으로 소형 경량화 되어 휴대가 용이하면서도 세균 등이 번식할 염려가 없도록 하는 휴대용 전동칫솔에 관한 것이다.
