The invention concerns a toothbrush head (1) comprising a brush head housing (2), and a bristle carrier (4) movable relative to the brush head housing (2) around an axis of pivoting (5), the bristle carrier (2) containing a plurality of tooth cleaning elements, wherein a first portion of bristles (7) is arranged annularly and disposed in an outward leaning angle (19) compared to the axis of pivoting (5) by means of a wedge ring (9), and a second portion of bristles (8) is arranged radially inwards of the first portion of bristles (7). The invention also concerns a method for manufacturing a toothbrush head (1).
