PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rice ball-producing apparatus which can produce straw bag-like rice balls in high efficiency.SOLUTION: The rice ball-producing apparatus is equipped with a turntable having a plurality of molding holes formed in the circumferential direction and used for receiving a prescribed quantity of cooked rice, respectively, and can form rice balls having a prescribed shape by the intermittent rotation of the turntable and by the receiving and pressing of cooked rice in the molding holes.
