PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mat for a pet toilet which is placed around the pet toilet and prevents granular matters for the pet toilet from scattering around the toilet by adhering to a pet after excretion.SOLUTION: A mat for a pet toilet comprises: a base material； belt-like projections arranged in parallel on the base material, having non-adhesive flat surfaces at the apexes, and provided with recessed grooves between the projections at an interval which prevents a pet from falling down； and an adhesive layer provided at bottoms of the recessed grooves. By placing the mat for the pet toilet around the pet toilet, granular matters for the pet toilet adhered to the legs of the pet coming out from the pet toilet fall off and are separated from the pet while the pet walks on the flat portion of the belt-like projections of the mat for the pet toilet, and fall onto the adhesive layer provided between the belt-like projections and are adhesively captured by the adhesive layer, thereby being prevented from scattering on a floor around the pet toilet.
