Pediculicide based formulation of Essential Oil of Eucalyptus globulus； and its use as a Pediculicide and scabicide in infestation by ectoparasites such as Phthirus pubis, Pediculus capitis, Sarcoptes scabiei, lxodidae SP, as well as repelentee mosquitoes.
This technology corresponds to a pediculicide formulation based on Eucalyptus globulus essential oil, which is effective against P. humanus capitis, which presents ovicidal activity and activity against P. humanus egg adherence, which causes the death of the parasite in a short estimated time, which has no toxicity, and which makes it impossible for the parasite to develop resistance. The formulation is composed of ethanol as a solvent and of isopropanol as a vehicle, Eucalyptus globulus essential oil as the active compound, optionally isopropyl myristate as an emollient, in addition to distilled water in sufficient quantity.
