The present invention relates to a composition for anti-obesity, containing a fermented product as an active ingredient, and a manufacturing method thereof, wherein the fermented product is generated by mixing one or more selected from Curcuma longa powder and Platycodon grandiflorum powder into rice, inoculating a strain into a mixture, and fermenting the mixture. The composition for anti-obesity of the present invention shows excellent effects of alleviating, preventing, and treating obesity by increasing activity of hormone sensitive lipase (HSL), acyl-CoA synthetase (ACS), and carnitine palmitoyltransferase-1 (CPT-1). The composition for anti-obesity contains a fermented product by inoculating Aspergillus oryzae CF1001 into a mixture which mixes rice, the Curcuma longa powder and the Platycodon grandiflorum powder and being fermented, wherein the Curcuma longa powder and the Platycodon grandiflorum powder respectively contain 2.5 wt% with respect to the total weight of the mixture.본 발명은 쌀에 울금분말 및 도라지분말 중 선택되는 어느 하나 이상을 혼합하고 균주를 접종하여 발효시킨 발효물을 유효성분으로 함유하는 항비만용 조성물 및 이의 제조방법에 관한 것으로, 본 발명의 항비만용 조성물은 HSL(hormone sensitive lipase), ACS(acyl-CoA synthetase), CPT-1(carnitine palmitoyltransferase-1)의 활성을 증가시켜 비만 개선, 예방 및 치료에 우수한 효과를 보인다.
