Extracted vegetable lipid, comprising fatty acids in an esterified form, comprising oleic acid, palmitic acid, ω6 fatty acids comprising linoleic acid (LA), ω3 fatty acids comprising α-linoleic acid (ALA) and docosahexaenoic acid ( DHA), and optionally one or more of stearidonic acid (SDA), eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA), docosapentaenoic acid (DPA) and eicosatetraenoic acid (ETA), where the level of DHA in the total fatty acid content of the extracted lipid is from 7% to 20% and where the level of palmitic acid in the total fatty acid content of the extracted lipid is between 2% and 16%, and where the level of myristic acid (C14: 0) in the Total fatty acid content of the extracted lipid is less than 1%.Lípido vegetal extraído, que comprende ácidos grasos en una forma esterificada, comprendiendo los ácidos grasos ácido oleico, ácido palmítico, ácidos grasos ω6 que comprenden ácido linoleico (LA), ácidos grasos ω3 que comprenden ácido α-linoleico (ALA) y ácido docosahexaenoico (DHA), y opcionalmente uno o más de ácido estearidónico (SDA), ácido eicosapentaenóico (EPA), ácido docosapentaenoico (DPA) y ácido eicosatetraenoico (ETA), en donde el nivel de DHA en el contenido total de ácidos grasos del lípido extraído es del 7 % al 20 % y en donde el nivel de ácido palmítico en el contenido total de ácidos grasos del lípido extraído es de entre el 2 % y el 16 %, y en donde el nivel de ácido mirístico (C14:0) en el contenido total de ácidos grasos del lípido extraído es inferior al 1 %.
