PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a user with information indicating an error degree accompanied with an angle correction when correcting the angle with respect to a Doppler waveform.SOLUTION: A sample gate 46 is set on a B mode image 34. A marker 48 showing a blood stream direction is designated by a user so that it passes the center of the sample gate 46. The angle correction is performed in the case when the Doppler waveform is displayed in accordance with an angle &theta formed by the marker 48 and a beam direction. When the angle &theta is equal to or larger than a prescribed angle (for example, 60 degrees), a display mode in the angle display 38 changes. For example, highlight display, flickering display, and the like are performed. Thus, the user intuitively recognizes an increase in error.
