PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To use a cuff for a sphygmomanometer, even in situations in which it is difficult to put it on from a hand.SOLUTION: The cuff for a sphygmomanometer includes: a tightening belt 20 which is wound around along the outer circumferential surface of a cylindrically rounded belt-like flexible cuff 10 and a tightening mechanism 30 which has a pinion gear (31) to be engaged with racks (23) of the tightening belt 20. In the cuff for a sphygmomanometer. tightening mechanism 30 and the flexible cuff 10 are made attachable/detachable to/from each other through a part 61 to be joined and a joining part 50 (51, 52, 53).
