PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a clip for an endoscope, which enables an operator to sense with the feeling of a hand that a clip member is turned to the state of being fully closed by a clip tightening ring when in use, and prevents loosening of the tightening force of a clip tightening ring after being made to stay inside a living body.
SOLUTION: The clip tightening ring 2 is formed by winding a coil wire rod with a spring property in a pipe shape. A coil engaging recess K to which the coil wire rod at the most distal end part at least of the clip tightening ring 2 is to be engaged when the clip member 1 is brought into a fully closed state by the clip tightening ring 2 is formed on the clip member 1.
