PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a screw member for a living body which has a low risk of breakage and can ensure sufficient bonding force to a bone.SOLUTION: A distal end side screw part 11 provided as a distal end portion of a screw part 10 of a screw member for a living body is constituted of a compact body, and in an intermediate screw part 12 provided as an intermediate portion of the screw part 10, a portion extending from at least a part of a surface of the intermediate screw part 12 to at least a part of the inside is constituted of a porous body.
