PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article which prevents oozing or leakage and is excellent in breathability.
SOLUTION: The absorbent article is provided with: an absorbent body 2 which comprises a liquid-permeable surface sheet 3 and a liquid-impermeable rear side sheet 4, and an absorbent body 5 which is disposed between the surface sheet 3 and the rear surface sheet 4 and absorbs and retains liquid, and has a back region S1, a crotch region S2, and a belly region S3 extending in the longitudinal direction from a back side to the belly side when worn and a pair of right and left side flap parts 10 provided to both sides in the width direction of the absorbent body 2. The lower surface of the absorbent body 2 and the rear side sheet 4 which are located at the side flap parts 10 are composed of a continuous integrated object. The side flap parts 10 have high moisture-permeable regions 6 having higher moisture permeability than the lower surface of the absorbent body 2 between width direction edges and absorbent body side edges of the side flap parts 10.
