The application describes a surgical device (100), a resectoscope (110) incorporating the surgical device and a method of making the surgical device. The surgical device comprises a housing (102) which is made from a flexible material； a plurality of flexible arms (104) which are attached to the housing and which are configured to move the housing between a closed configuration and an open configuration； and at least one shape memory alloy (SMA) member attached to each one of the plurality of flexible arms. Contraction of the at least one SMA member causes the flexible arm to which the at least one SMA member is attached to flex and move the housing from the closed configuration to the open configuration.L'invention concerne un dispositif chirurgical (100), un résectoscope (110) incorporant le dispositif chirurgical, ainsi qu'un procédé de fabrication de ce dispositif chirurgical.
