The invention relates to a forehead rest for respiratory masks. The forehead rest comprises a user-adjustable deformable resilient cushion member configured to in use rest against the forehead of a patient. In one embodiment, the user-adjustable deformable resilient cushion member is at least one adjustable strap (365) attached and adjustable on the forehead rest. Alternatively, the user-adjustable deformable resilient cushion member can be a member (360) rotatably mounted on the forehead rest, or an inflatable member that is inflated with liquid or gas.
