The invention is directed to sustained release formulations containing oxycodone or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof which provide a mean C24/Cmax oxycodoen ratio of 0.6 to 1.0 or 0.7 to 1 after oral administration at steady state to patients and methods thereof.La présente invention concerne des formulations à libération prolongée, qui contiennent de loxycodone ou un sel de celle-ci, acceptable dun point de vue pharmaceutique, et qui fournissent un rapport doxycodone C24/Cmax moyen allant de 0,6 à 1,0 ou de 0,7 à 1, après une administration par voie orale à des patients à létat stationnaire. La présente invention concerne également des procédés pour mettre en oeuvre ces formulations.
