PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heart massage auxiliary tool for suppressing rib/sternum fracture during heart massage. SOLUTION: A projecting portion 3 is provided so as to project on a chest setting portion 2 to be placed on the chest of a person. The protrusion 3 is protruded by a predetermined length so that the position of the sternum when the chest setting part 2 is placed on the chest of a person can be pushed by a predetermined depth necessary for heart massage. The chest setting part 2 has a pair of side wall parts 12. Each side wall 12 has flexibility in the opening/closing direction. Each side wall portion 12 is designed to position the protrusion 3 at the position of the sternum with the chest wall of a person being sandwiched therebetween. When the protrusion 3 is positioned in the human sternum position, the auxiliary part 4 is positioned in the human front thoracic rib position. The auxiliary portion 4 is provided on the chest setting portion 2 so as to protrude by a predetermined length shorter than the protruding portion 3 so that the front chest ribs can be pushed down when the heart massage is performed by the protruding portion 3.
