PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problems during trimming and treatment for a cat that: a dog muzzle for preventing bites is caught by a front leg and easily removed by the cat and a muzzle reformed for a round-faced animal cannot prevent eye contact with the cat, causing the cat to take a threatening posture.SOLUTION: A bite prevention tool for a round-faced animal includes: a housing part body having an opening part formed on one end thereof, for housing an entire head part of a round-faced animal and a housing adjustment part formed continually with the opening part of the housing part body. The housing adjustment part includes: a cover of which a shape can be freely deformed to fit a head part size of the round-raced animal and a fixed part for fixing the cover to the round-faced animal. Because the entire head part is covered, the round-faced animal cannot remove the cover and cannot make eye contact with a user, allowing the round-faced animal to become quiet.COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT【課題】猫用のトリミングや治療などで噛みつき防止具を犬用の口輪で代用すると、前肢で引っかけてすぐに取り外されてしまうという課題があり、丸顔動物用に改良した口輪も猫と目が合うことで威嚇されるという課題があった。【解決手段】一方を開口してなる丸顔動物の頭部全体を収納する収納部本体と、収納部本体の開口部に連接してなる収納調節部とを有し、収納調整部は丸顔動物の頭部の大きさに合わせて自在に変形できるカバーと、カバーを丸顔動物に固定するための固定部からなり、丸顔動物の頭部全体を覆うことで、丸顔動物は取り外すことが出来なくなり、かつ、収納部本体を被せることにより使用者と丸顔動物が目を合わさないため丸顔動物が大人しくなる。【選択図】図1
