A method of spawning oyster Crassostrea iredalei, Faustino, 1932 through thermal shock comprising the following steps: collecting a plurality of oyster (Crassostrea iredalei, Faustino, 1932) breeders； separating said oyster breeders from their clutches individually； cleaning said oyster breeders from soft sponges, sea grass, mud, bryozoans, barnacles, algae, or other fouling organisms using hard bristle brush； rinsing said cleaned oyster breeders in a basin with tap water； treating said oyster breeders with prophylactic using buffered formalin solution at 4ppm for 10 minutes； preconditioning said oyster breeders in an aerial tanks having 30 liters of filtered seawater for 4 hours； adding hot filtered sea water to aerial tanks until temperature reaches 30øC.
