A method for manufacturing an electrochemical sensor comprising: positioning opposed ends of an electrochemical module (30) on a carrier (20) such that an electrochemical cavity (42) formed in the electrochemical module (30) is positioned across an opening (24) formed in the carrier (20) and folding the carrier (20) to engage the opposed ends of the electrochemical module (30) between top and bottom portions (20t,20b) of the carrier (20). A plurality of openings (124) and electrochemical modules (130) can be formed on a carrier web (100) such that a plurality of electrochemical sensors can be manufactured with a single folding step.Linvention concerne un appareil de détection électrochimique et des procédés associés.
