A method for producing a fried food according to the present invention comprises sticking, to 100 parts by mass of a food material to be fried, 0.001-0.5 parts by mass of taurine and 0.001-0.5 parts by mass of a mixture of peptides having a molecular weight of 800,000-10,000, said mixture of peptides being derived from an animal or vegetable protein extract, and then frying.
