Physically and chemically stable aqueous suspensions of riluzole are disclosed together with the manufacturing methods thereof. Such aqueous suspensions comprise riluzole in particle form and at least a wetting agent, preferably a surfactant. Riluzole is in amounts from about 0.1 % to about 20% w/v and has an average particle size lower than 200 µm； such suspensions are devoided of the known local (mouth) anaesthetic effects of riluzole.릴루졸의 물리적으로 그리고 화학적으로 안정한 수성 현탁액이 그의 제조 방법과 함께 기재되어 있다. 이러한 수성 현탁액은 입자 형태의 릴루졸 및 하나 이상의 습윤제, 바람직하게는 계면활성제를 포함한다. 릴루졸은 약 0.1% 내지 약 20% w/v 의 양으로 존재하고, 200 ㎛ 미만의 평균 입자 크기를 갖고； 이러한 현탁액은 릴루졸의 알려진 국부적 (구강) 마취 효과가 결여된다.
