The present invention relates to a sunscreen composition comprising 10 to 30 parts by weight of any one or more of lignin or modified lignin as a filler, based on 100 parts by weight of the total composition, or a sunscreen composition comprising 0.1 to 2 parts by weight of any one or more of lignin or modified lignin as an additive, based on 100 parts by weight of the total composition, and a cosmetic composition comprising the same. By using lignin or modified lignin within the range, it is possible to prepare a composition exhibiting excellent sunscreen effect while solving problems such as skin toxicity of conventional sunscreen compounds.본 발명은 전체 조성물 100 중량부에 대하여, 리그닌 또는 개질 리그닌 중 어느 하나 이상을 충진제로서 10 내지 30 중량부로 포함하는 자외선 차단용 조성물, 또는, 전체 조성물 100 중량부에 대하여, 리그닌 또는 개질 리그닌 중 어느 하나 이상을 첨가제로서 0.1 내지 2 중량부로 포함하는 자외선 차단용 조성물 및 이를 포함하는 화장료 조성물에 관한 것으로, 상기 범위 내의 리그닌 또는 개질 리그닌을 사용함으로써 종래 자외선 차단제 화합물들의 피부 독성 등의 문제점을 해결하면서도 우수한 자외선 차단 효과를 나타내는 조성물을 제조할 수 있다.
