PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical needle with a protector, capable of easily preventing a needle body from projecting again, and allowing a user to easily confirm that the needle body is in a projection prevented state.SOLUTION: The protector 4 includes: a cylindrical protector body 41 a notch 41a extending in the axial direction from a front end formed in the upper outer periphery of the protector body 41 a blocking member 42 disposed in the notch 41a and a grip 42a formed at the rear end of the blocking member 42. A locking mechanism includes a locking piece 42b provided in the grip 42a and an engagement part 32 provided in a hub 3 in such a way as to engage with the locking piece 42b. The blocking member 42 is connected to the protector body 41 rotatably around an axis orthogonally crossing the axial direction of a needle tube 2.
