A pocket and drape system which provides one or more sterile fields, as wellas the methodology for employing saidpocket and drape system is provided. The pocket and drape includes a basedrape material having an upper edge, a lower edge, a firstside edge, and a second side edge to define a perimeter, where the base drapematerial also includes an inner surface and an outersurface. A first row of pockets and a second row of pockets are configured onthe inner surface of the base drape material. In addition,a flap covers a portion of the inner surface of the base drape material, wherethe flap has a first surface and an opposing second surface,wherein the flap maintains at least one sterile field.
