Die Erfindung betrifft einen elektromotorischer Möbelantrieb mit mindestens einem Verstellantrieb (7, 8) zur elektromotorischen Bewegung wenigstens eines bewegbaren Möbelbauteils relativ zu einem weiteren Möbelbauteil, einer Steuereinrichtung (10) und einer Bedieneinheit (20), wobei ein Motor (M) des mindestens einen Verstellantriebs (7, 8) in Abhängigkeit von Signalen der Bedieneinheit (20) angesteuert wird. Der elektromotorische Möbelantrieb zeichnet sich dadurch aus, dass die Steuereinrichtung (10) zum Schalten eines Motorstroms des Motors (M) zumindest einen Halbleiter-Leistungsschalter aufweist, wobei einer Auswerteeinheit eine über dem Halbleiter-Leistungsschalter abfallende Spannung zugeführt wird, um Kommutationsflanken des Motors (M) zu detektieren.
