Das erfindungsgemässe Verfahren betrifft die Herstellung eines Lebensmittels, wobei dieses insbesondere ein im Wesentlichen quaderförmiges Lebensmittel ist. Dieses Verfahren beinhaltet den Schritt der Extrusion einer Masse zur Formung eines Extrudats. Hierbei kann es sich insbesondere um ein Flachbrot handeln.
