PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a breast diagnosis assist system making it easy to collate three-dimensional volume data with a mammographic image.SOLUTION: The breast diagnosis assist system includes a hypothesis unit that hypothesizes a parameter representing the relationship between a coordinate system for a mammographic image and a coordinate system for three-dimensional volume data, a deformation unit that uses the hypothesized parameter, information on the imaging direction of the mammographic image, and information on the thickness of a compressed breast to deform the three-dimensional volume data so as to produce two deformed three-dimensional volume data items, a projection unit that produces a pair of pseudo-mammographic images that are pseudo mammographic images, a comparison unit that calculates a likelihood which is the adequacy of the parameter hypothesized by the hypothesis unit, an update unit that determines whether the parameter hypothesized and produced by the hypothesis unit should be updated, and an output unit that, if it is determined to be unnecessary for the update unit to update the parameter, outputs the parameter.COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT【課題】3次元ボリュームデータとマンモグラフィ画像とが見比べやすい乳房診断支援システムを提供する。【解決手段】マンモグラフィ画像の座標系と、3次元ボリュームデータの座標系との関係を表わすパラメータを仮定して生成する仮定部と、仮定したパラメータと、マンモグラフィ画像の撮影方向と圧迫状態の乳房の厚みの情報とを用いて、3次元ボリュームデータを変形して2つの変形3次元ボリュームデータを生成する変形部と、疑似的なマンモグラフィ画像である疑似マンモグラフィ画像を2枚1組生成する投影部と、仮定部において仮定したパラメータの妥当性である尤度を算出する比較部と、仮定部において仮定して生成するパラメータを更新するかどうかを決定する更新部と、更新部においてパラメータを更新する必要が無いと決定した場合に、その際のパラメータを出力する出力部と、を備えるようにした。【選択図】図1
