PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel and useful kinesin inhibitor that suppresses the action of kinesin involved in transporting melanosomes to keratinocytes, and a composition useful for relieving, preventing, and improving various pigmentation symptoms including spots and freckles.SOLUTION: Provided are a kinesin inhibitor containing lemon grass leaf extract as an active ingredient, a pigmentation inhibitor based on kinesin inhibitory action and various compositions (pharmaceutical composition, food composition, cosmetic composition) containing the kinesin inhibitor.
