A process of making seaweed (Eucheuma sp.) soap comprising the following steps: rehydrating a plurality of dried seaweed by soaking in a distilled water for 1-2 hours cleaning and washing said rehydrated seaweed in step (a) until all undesired residues and dirt were removed from the seaweed crushing said rehydrated seaweeds using a mechanical blender mixing a coconut oil and palm oil to said crushed rehydrated seaweeds blending the mixture until crushed seaweeds are completely distributed with oil adding the caustic soda to the said mixture blending said mixture using a mechanical blender cooling said blended mixture for about 3-5 minutes adding the fragrance and colorant to said cooled mixture blending the mixture for about 2-3 minutes pouring said blended mixture in a moulder and let hardened for about 6-12 hours to produce a seaweed soap storing said seaweed soap in clean place for 15-30 days for aging purposes and packing the seaweed soap.
