PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a one-leg standing balance training apparatus which is effective for enhancing the effectiveness when an elderly person whose physical ability is comparatively diminishing exercises training to recover his or her physical function by himself or herself.SOLUTION: A one leg standing balance training apparatus includes a base plate (1), portal support pillars (3) standing in front and rear positions on both the right and left sides thereof, latching implements (5) provided to latch horizontal rails (4) whose height has been adjusted in the height direction on the support pillars (3) in the front and rear positions, the horizontal rails (4) laid on the latching implements (5) in the front and rear positions thereof, and a foot placing implement (2) provided in the substantially central part of the base plate (1). The base plate (1) is provided with a rail body (11), and the foot placing implement (2) is fitted so as to slide along the rail body (11) through a slider (21).
