PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toothbrush of excellent durability which can provide a high massage effect to even a user who has a vulnerable gum in different brushing methods, especially in bathing method without damaging gum.SOLUTION: Brush hairs 4 are implanted on the implantation base 20. In the inner area R1 in the width direction of the implantation base 20, thermoplastic elastomer bristles 41, ... are implanted and in both the outer areas R2 and R3 in the width direction of the implantation base 20, synthetic resin bristles 42, ... which are harder than thermoplastic elastomer bristles are implanted.
