A method of recording information about a user's breathing, the method comprising the steps of: - instructing a user to execute a movement on the device that reflects his breathing activity； - generate, by means of the said device, a signal reflecting the said movement； - receive information about the breath user by the mentioned signal. 2. The method according to claim 1, wherein said method further comprises the step of selecting a portion of the signal having a periodic change； wherein said step of obtaining is to obtain information about a user's breath from said portion of the signal. The method of claim 2, wherein the period of change of said signal portion is within a predetermined range. The method according to claim 1, wherein said method further comprises the step of providing the user with the said received breath information. The method according to claim 1, wherein said method further comprises the step of providing the user with breathing instructions in accordance with a predetermined requirement. The method according to claim 5, wherein said method further comprises the steps of: - comparing said breathing information received with a predetermined requirement； said step of providing breathing instructions is further based on the result of said comparison step.
