PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mycotoxin adsorbent that can be produced using an inexpensive natural bentonite as a raw material and exhibits excellent aflatoxin- and zearalenone-adsorbing performance.SOLUTION: A mycotoxin adsorbent comprises a Ca bentonite having a Si-O stretching vibration falling within the range from 1,041 to 1,090 cmas measured by infrared spectroscopy and a medium diameter ratio (D(W)/D(E)) falling within the range from 60 to 110% by volume as measured by a laser diffraction scattering method.【課題】廉価な天然ベントナイトを原料として、アフラトキシンに対してのみならず、ゼアラレノンに対しても優れた吸着性を示すカビ毒吸着剤を提供することにある。【解決手段】赤外分光光度測定でＳｉ－Ｏ伸縮振動が１０４１～１０９０ｃｍ－１の範囲にあり、レーザ回折散乱法の体積基準での中位径比Ｄ５０（Ｗ）／Ｄ５０（Ｅ）が６０～１１０％の範囲にあるＣａ型ベントナイトからなるカビ毒吸着剤。【選択図】なし
