The hydratedcomposition may assist in returning an injured, inflamed or surgicallyrepaired surface to a normal state, e.g., through one ormore healing mechanisms such as modulation of an inflammatory response,phagocytosis, mucosal remodeling, reciliation orother full or partial restoration of normal function.
