PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To protect a top sheet, while securing a leak prevention effect.
SOLUTION: A sanitary napkin 1 has the absorbent body 2 including: a liquid-permeable top sheet 3 a liquid-non-permeable back sheet 4 and an absorbent body 5 arranged between the top sheet 3 and the back sheet 4. A cover sheet 8 for covering the front surface of the top sheet 3 is arranged, whose peripheral edge area 8P of the cover sheet 8 is joined with the absorbent body 2. A plurality of flaps for fixing the absorbent body 2 to underwear are divided by division lines 9 in the center area 8C of the cover sheet. When the napkin is used, the flaps are respectively bent and developed in bending areas, so as to be respectively fixed to the underwear. The flaps include a front flap 10F, a rear flap 10B, a left flap 10L, and a right flap 10R. A leak prevention area is formed in the cover sheet 8 between the bending areas and the peripheral edge area 8P.
