The present invention relates to a mosquito repelling module and a control method thereof. The mosquito repelling module according to the present invention includes a frequency detecting unit for detecting the natural frequency of mosquito； a memory unit for storing the natural frequency and the repelling frequency according to the type of mosquito； a control unit for determining the repelling frequency and the type of the mosquito by the natural frequency detected by the frequency detecting unit through the memory unit； and a frequency output unit for generating the repelling frequency determined by the control unit.본 발명은 모기퇴치모듈 및 그의 제어방법에 관한 것이다. 본 발명의 사상에 따른 모기퇴치모듈에는 모기의 고유주파수를 감지하는 주파수 감지부, 모기의 종류에 따른 고유주파수 및 퇴치주파수가 저장된 메모리부, 상기 메모리부를 통해 상기 주파수 감지부에서 감지된 고유주파수로 모기의 종류 및 퇴치주파수를 판단하는 제어부 및 상기 제어부에서 판단된 퇴치주파수를 발생시키는 주파수 출력부가 포함된다.
