PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method which can inactivate viruses sticking to a textile product polluted with vomit without using chlorine-based bleach.SOLUTION: A virus removal method from a textile product, removes viruses sticking to fibers by contacting a process liquid (X) containing a peroxide generating hydrogen peroxide when dissolved in water or hydrogen peroxide, a specific bleach activator and an inorganic alkali agent, to the textile product.
