PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cassette type radiographic image solid-state detector that is an FPD (FlatPanel Detector) compatible with a CR (Computed Radiography) cassette, thin-shaped, having sufficient strength and capable of restraining a housing from being deformed by external stress and withstanding an external shock, and permitting portable radiographing.SOLUTION: The cassette type radiographic image solid-state detector 1 includes the housing 3 including a detector unit 2 having a detecting part 151. The housing 3 further includes a rectangular tubular body part 31 formed of carbon fibers and having openings 311, 312 at both ends, and a first cover member 32 and a second cover member 33 having insertion parts 322, 332 fittable to the respective openings of the body part 31.
