PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic cassette system and an electronic cassette enabling the use of more diversified external grids without applying bothersome work to the external grid.SOLUTION: A center position C4 of a female connector 11 is located nearer a rear surface 21 than a center position C3 of the housing 16 in a thickness direction D2 of the housing 16 of an electronic cassette 10. An inclined surface 50, which is inclined relative to a side surface 25 and the rear surface 21 of the housing 16, is formed between the side surface 25 and the rear surface 21. The female connector 11 is formed on the inclined surface 50.
