Estos compuestos son inhibidores de enzimas fosfodiesterasas 1(PDE1), regulando las vias de senalizacion intracelular, preferentemente en el sistema nervioso, o potenciando los niveles de los segundos mensajeros cAMP/cGMP. Tambien se refiere a composicion farmaceutica. Dichos compuestos son utiles en el tratamiento de trastornos neurodegenerativos y trastornos psiquiatricos.
