PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antibacterial agent capable of being used as a simple substance, not by blending with another article and maintaining an antibacterial effect to an air conditioner unit which is attached to transports for passenger or cargo such as automobile, train, aircraft and marine and which is difficult to be kept clean, over a long time.SOLUTION: There is provided an antibacterial agent having a phenolic compound having volatility, a gelatinizer and a compatibility accelerator having flowability, and gel strength of 1 to 40 kgf. There is provided the antibacterial agent containing the phenolic compound of 10 to 90 wt.%, the gelatinizer of 5 to 50 wt.% and the compatibility accelerator of 5 to 50 wt.% and having a volatilization amount of the phenolic compound at 50°C for 24 hours of 0.1 to 10 wt.%. There is provided the antibacterial agent where the phenolic compound is parachlorometaxylenol or 3-methyl-4-isopropyl phenol and housed in a vessel having a vaporizing port ejecting the phenolic compound.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1COPYRIGHT: (C)2016,JPO&INPIT【課題】他の物体に配合して使用するのではなく単体で使用することができ、通常手入れの行き届かない自動車、電車、航空機、船舶等の旅客又は貨物用の輸送機等に取り付けられるエアコンユニットに対して長期間に亘り抗菌効果を持続できる抗菌剤の提供。【解決手段】揮発性を有するフェノール系化合物と、ゲル化剤と、流動性を有する相溶化剤を備え、ゲル強度が1~40kgfである抗菌剤。フェノール系化合物が10~90重量%、ゲル化剤が5~50重量%、相溶化剤が5~50重量%含有され、50℃、24時間における前記フェノール系化合物の揮発量が、0.1~10重量%である前記抗菌剤。前記フェノール系化合物がパラクロロメタキシレノール又は3-メチル-4-イソプロピルフェノールであり、前記フェノール系化合物を排出する揮散口を有する容器に収容されている抗菌剤。【選択図】図1
