A method for treating or preventing a norovirus, such as Norwalk virus, infection in a subject, which comprises administering to said subject in need thereof a therapeutically effective amount of at least one compound selected from the group consisting of: a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof or solvate thereof or mixtures thereof. The subject can be an animal, particularly mammals and more particularly humans and companion animals such as cats and dogs.Linvention concerne une méthode pour le traitement ou la prévention dune infection par un norovirus, tel que le virus Norwalk, chez un sujet, qui consiste à administrer audit sujet qui en a besoin une quantité thérapeutiquement efficace dau moins un composé choisi dans le groupe constitué par : un sel de celui-ci ou un solvate de celui-ci ou des mélanges de ceux-ci pharmaceutiquement acceptables. Le sujet peut être un animal, en particulier des mammifères et plus particulièrement des êtres humains et des animaux de compagnie tels que des chats et des chiens.
