PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small and inexpensive apparatus for audiometric evaluation, convenient to carry around, so as to be capable of adapting early to prevention of an accident or a deterioration in cognitive capacity by simply and surely grasping practical audibility of subjects such as aged persons, infants and patients without measuring average sound pressure of non-pure sounds, and detecting the degree of deterioration of audibility and that of the deterioration of the cognitive capacity.SOLUTION: The apparatus for audiometric evaluation includes a means (A) for storing a series of pieces of non-pure sound information, a non-pure sound information output means (B), pure sound information output means (C), an output sound signal selection switch means (D), an amplified output means (E), a sound pressure adjusting means (F), and a sound reproduction means (G). In a method for audiometric evaluation, a plurality of pure sounds different in sound pressure, which are selected by the output sound signal selection switch means (D) and adjusted by the sound pressure adjusting means (F), are presented to the subject by using the apparatus for audiometric evaluation the minimum sound pressure of the pure sound capable of being heard by the subject is checked and the sound pressures of the series of pieces of non-pure sound information are adjusted to be equivalent to the checked sound pressure of the pure sound and presented to the subject.COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT【課題】高齢者や幼児、患者らの被検者の実用的聴力を、非純音の平均音圧を測定することなく、簡便で確実に把握し、聴力低下と認知力の低下の程度を検知して、事故や認知力の低下を予防するための早期対応を可能にすることを目的とし、小型かつ安価で、持ち運びに便利な聴力評価装置を提供する。【解決手段】(A)一連の非純音情報記憶手段、(B)非純音情報出力手段、(C)純音情報出力手段、(D)出力音信号選択スイッチ手段、(E)増幅出力手段、(F)音圧調整手段及び(G)音再生手段を有する聴力評価装置を用いて、被験者に、(D)によって選択され(F)によって調整された音圧の異なる複数の純音を提示して、被験者が聞き取れる最小の純音音圧を確認し、一連の非純音情報の音圧を、前記確認された純音の音圧と同等に調整して被験者に提示することを特徴とする聴力評価方法。【選択図】図1
